Nomination Clarifications #3

Round three of tags that need to be edited or clarified! Keep in mind that if a tag needs clarification and we haven't heard from its nominator by the time signups are set to open, the tag may be rejected.

Clarifications:

Transformers - All Media Types
  • Blackout (Transformers) - Please nominate this character under a specific Transformers canon rather than All Media Types. (See the bottom of this post for the reasoning behind this.)

Janelle Monae - Works - SOLVED

SCP Foundation - SOLVED

Takeshi Kovacs Trilogy - Richard Morgan - SOLVED

Marvel Cinematic Universe - SOLVED

Formatting issues:

If you have an unapproved nom in any of the fandoms below, it is because you formatted it incorrectly. Please put "group: " before relationship noms, and provide a fandom in parentheses for every member of a Crossover Fandom relationship tag. Shortening things is fine if you run up against the AO3 character limit for tags:
  • Robot Series - Isaac Asimov

  • Original Work

  • Crossover Fandom

All Media Types fixes:

There are currently four approved fandoms in the tagset that end with "- All Media Types." While presumably a useful tool for AO3 wranglers, AMT tags cause issues in tagsets where characters show up in places they shouldn't be. As such, the mods need to move characters out of AMT and into more specific fandoms. As the mods are not experts on every franchise, please let us know which specific canons the characters below would best be categorized under (if a relationship includes characters from separate installments, "Crossover Fandom" is the correct answer):

Terminator - All Media Types
  • T-800

  • T-950

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types
  • group: Grievous | Qymaen jai Sheelal/Obi-Wan Kenobi

Star Wars Legends - All Media Types
  • WeeGee (Star Wars)

  • HK-01

  • group: Kyle Katarn & WeeGee

  • group: C-3PO & Jarred Sneel

Star Wars - All Media Types
  • group: C3PO/R2-D2 & BB-8

  • Group: C-3PO/R2-D2

  • Group: BB-8 & R2-D2

  • GNK Power Droid

I'm the nominator and yes, you are absolutely welcome to merge Janelle Monae - Works with Metropolis Suites. :)

Not my nominations, but for:

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types

group: Grievous | Qymaen jai Sheelal/Obi-Wan Kenobi

AFAIK, this *is* the most specific fandom for the characters/pairing.

Star Wars - All Media Types

group: C3PO/R2-D2 & BB-8

Group: BB-8 & R2-D2

These could go in Star Wars Sequel Trilogy.

I double-checked, and it looks like you're correct about TCW (2008) being the most specific fandom for that pairing.

I will also associate the droid group nominations with the Sequel Trilogy; the nominator hasn't shown up yet on this post, and that seems like the most logical place for them.

Thank you!

You can put WeeGee things under "Star Wars: Jedi Knight (video game)"

HK-01 under "Star Wars Legends: The Old Republic"

C-3PO & Jarred Sneel would probably be best tagged as "Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game" which doesn't exist as a canonical tag, as far as I can see

Thanks for the clarification! We'll associate these with the appropriate canons.

Not the nominator, but I think Group: BB-8 & R2-D2 should go under Crossovers.

Since both characters appear and interact in the Sequel Trilogy, and as the nominator hasn't shown up on this post, we'll be associating that relationship with the Sequel Trilogy - but thank you for your input!

AYRT

Ooooooooh, right. Somehow I had completely forgotten that R2 appeared on the sequels. Yeah, that ship under the sequel trilogy make sense. X)

Looks like two of the Star Wars - All Media Types are mine. They can be categorized under Star Wars - Original Trilogy:

Group: C-3PO/R2-D2
GNK Power Droid

Will do! Thank you for the clarification.

Hi, I'm the SCP Foundation nominator. SCP-2721-LORD is given the name "bones" in the Gamers Against Weed dossier (http://www.scp-wiki.net/gamers-against-weed-dossier). This isn't linked in the main SCP entry, it's only in the Tales section. Dahlia and Jude Kriyot originate from this same dossier, and are also central characters who interact with bones/SCP-2721-LORD in a couple of Tales, specifically Different Kinds of Nihilism and What Passes as Normal in the Digital Age, which can be found on the main Gamers Against Weed hub (http://www.scp-wiki.net/gamers-against-weed-hub). Sorry for the confusion!

SA

(just to mention, Jude Kriyot also appears under the name "bluntfiend" and Dahlia appears under the name "hetcopogg". If you see those characters mentioned, it's the same people.)

In Original Works, for "Robot Trying To Claim Cyborg Statis Because It's Powered By A Hamster On A Wheel" Statis should be Status.
