Evidence Post 2019

As much as they would like to, the mods do not know every single canon out there. We trust that participants are nominating characters in good faith, but we'll still do a quick search on characters we're unfamiliar with to make sure the tags going through are correct. If you think that's a recipe for confusion (say, you nominated a character who shares a name with a popular human character in the same fandom, but you meant her android simulacrum incarnation from that one spinoff audio drama), drop a comment here to let the mods know in advance!

Just a quick note to drop a link to Centipede and Scyther on RimWorld, because they're both located under the general Mechanoids page on the wiki/I thought they might be hard to find and not readily apparent by the names as robots: https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Mechanoid

Also, in Fallout 4, Nick Valentine shares a name with a human, who is tagged on AO3 as Original Nick Valentine, while Nick Valentine refers to the synth who got the original's memories.

Black Mirror's "USS Callister" episode has both human and digital clone versions of all the characters I nominated. I've just used their names rather than specifying "Digital Clone Nanette Cole," etc., because it looks like that's how they've been tagged in previous fic on AO3.
