Questions, round 1.
Mods have eligibility questions about several of the characters that have shown up in the tagset. If you nominated these characters or are familiar with the canon, please comment on this post to let us know how the characters in question are eligible for this exchange (or to confirm that they are not eligible, if that's the case).
To reiterate eligibility rules: "Robotic" characters, for the purposes of this exchange, are characters in the realm of AIs, robots, androids, mecha, machines, cyborgs, and any other technology-focused characters. [...] The only time mods may reject a nomination is if the character is egregiously not-robotic - e.g. 100% human characters, or otherwise completely human characters with single prosthetic limbs.

If these nominations are not modified by the time the nomination period ends, they will be rejected.

There's further conversations with team mates through the series about what those implants mean for Shepard's free will and life ahead. Plus if you're super aggressive, your face cracks around the implants and you start looking a little terminatory.

Commander Shepard
(Anonymous) 2019-04-13 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)I don't know about Joker, but in ME2's opening Shepard is killed and resurrected as a cyborg--it's not a significant character beat but it's there. Depending on certain choices you make in the game (getting cosmetic surgery, where you fall on the good/evil axis), Shepard will get more severe facial scarring and glowing red eyes like a Terminator. In ME3 they even raise the possibility that "Shepard" from ME2-3 isn't mentally Shepard, instead being an artificial AI (although that quickly gets disproven) who thinks they're Shepard.
