Questions, round 1.

Mods have eligibility questions about several of the characters that have shown up in the tagset. If you nominated these characters or are familiar with the canon, please comment on this post to let us know how the characters in question are eligible for this exchange (or to confirm that they are not eligible, if that's the case).

To reiterate eligibility rules: "Robotic" characters, for the purposes of this exchange, are characters in the realm of AIs, robots, androids, mecha, machines, cyborgs, and any other technology-focused characters. [...] The only time mods may reject a nomination is if the character is egregiously not-robotic - e.g. 100% human characters, or otherwise completely human characters with single prosthetic limbs.

Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Female Shepard
  • Jeff "Joker" Moreau
Both of these characters appear to be human and upon googling/wiki-skimming I don't see any indication that they are canonically cyborgs/AI/robotic. Please link to evidence of eligibility.

Original Work
  • Brilliant Woman Engineer Terrible at Adulting
  • Ethically Conflicted Govt. Employee
  • Highly Intelligent Parrot
  • Kid Who Keeps Ordering Stuff
  • Person with Terrible Sense of Direction
  • Retail Worker Who Is Polite To Technology
Original character nominations must include at least one character who is clearly specified to be a robot/cyborg/mecha/machine/AI/etc. in the text of the nomination. Please modify each of these nominations so that they either 1) are a group including a robotic character or 2) clearly specify that the single nominated character is in some way robotic. If these nominations are not modified by the time the nomination period ends, they will be rejected.

Star Wars Prequel Trilogy
  • Clone Trooper Pilot Left For Dead
  • Jaded Human CIS Mechanic
Original character nominations must include at least one character who is clearly specified to be a robot/cyborg/mecha/machine/AI/etc. Clones are not considered to be robotic characters simply by virtue of being clones. Please modify each of these nominations so that they either 1) are a group including a robotic character or 2) clearly specify that the single nominated character is in some way robotic. If these nominations are not modified by the time the nomination period ends, they will be rejected.

Star Wars: Rebels
  • Ezra Bridger
  • Zeb Orrelios
  • Hera Syndulla
  • Kanan Jarrus
  • Sabine Wren
These characters appear to be non-robotic and upon googling/wiki-skimming I don't see any indication that they are canonically cyborgs/AI/robotic. Please link to evidence of eligibility.

Transformers (Bay Movies)
  • Charlie Watson
This character appears to be non-robotic and upon googling/wiki-skimming I don't see any indication that she is canonically a cyborg/AI/robotic. Please link to evidence of eligibility.

Not the nominator, but Charlie from the Transformers movies is a human character.

Thank you! We'll reject the tag for now (though of course the nominator can provide evidence of eligibility if they want to challenge that decision).
