Reminder that we've extended the signup period by 24 hours, so signups close tomorrow, May 18th, at 11:59 PM Central time! Here's a countdown.

Things to do, if you've already signed up:

• Make sure you're requesting at least 3 unique fandoms! i.e. you can request a fandom more than once with a different set of characters/ships, but you must request at least 3 different fandoms in the rest of your requests.


• Browse the requests summary to make sure you're offering at least one fandom that someone else is requesting! If you aren't at the time signups close, the mods will contact you via your AO3 email and ask you to add more offers.


• If you've linked a locked/placeholder letter or signup, make sure to unlock it/fill out those details by the time signups close.

Reminder: To sign up, you must request at least three unique fandoms. You can request one fandom multiple times, but you must request at least two other separate fandoms for your signup to be eligible. Please check your requests and make sure you're requesting multiple fandoms!

Signups for Turing Fest 2018 are open! Go forth and request your robots.

Signups will close on April 22 at 11:59 PM UTC. (Countdown!)

Please make sure to read the instructions on requesting and offering. If there is an egregious issue with your signup (e.g. you request "Any" but then DNW one of the nominated characters, you don't have at least 3 unique fandoms, you indicate that you only want an unnominated character), the mods will contact you via email explaining the problem and asking you to edit your signup. If you haven't done so by the time signups close, your signup will be deleted.

We have decided to allow participants to request individual fandoms multiple times with different character/ship tags, as long as they have a total of 3 unique fandoms. This is to accommodate participants who want to request more than 10 characters/ships in one fandom, but don't want to request "Any" in that fandom.

Another important note: Traditionally, AO3 has had a signup summary page where you can see every single fandom that's being requested and how many offers it has. However, that page has been nonfunctional recently. The mods have created a handmade version of the signup summary here.
